Remember to register for the Kaamos Symposium December 4th - 5th
Hi all,
There are still a few days left to register as a presenter for this year’s Kaamos Symposium.
You have the option to give a 20-minute talk, a 30-minute talk or a poster presentation, and you can choose to deliver your oral presentation in person or online. Especially PhD researchers and postdocs this is a good opportunity for
you to present your research and recent results. Also, master’s students are warmly welcome to present their master’s thesis results and this is a good and safe place to get to practice presenting at a scientific conference. Master’s students can also get
extra credits from presenting at Kaamos. All topics in biology and environmental sciences are welcome!

and inform all presenters well in advance on which day they will be presenting. If you can give your talk only on either of the days let us know by emailing
KaamosSymposium@gmail.com so we can schedule you for the day you are free to present. The deadline for registration is the 8th
of November and please submit your abstract by the 15th of November to
KaamosSymposium@gmail.com.
The poster sessions will be held only in person at the Botanical Gardens at the University of Oulu on the evening of the 5th of December in parallel with the Botanical Garden party. Posters can be printed and
brought to the poster session. If you are unable to print a large poster, you can also make a collage of smaller sheets (such as A4 or A3). The deadline for poster presenter registration is the 8th of November.
