In the last unit meeting I presented the results of the Bachelor Graduate Survey 2023, attached here (both in Finnish and English in the same document). Today I got the results of a national comparison, and in 38% of the questions we were ranked first, and in 85% of the questions we were in the top three (see the attachment). This is excellent and recognized and praised also at the faculty level! Huge thanks again to all who have been teaching, supervising bachelor’s and master’s theses and evaluating student work in our Unit!

There was confusion with a couple of questions where the response scale should have been inverted, but I wasn’t completely sure if that had been done. I found this in the Information sheet of the survey: “There are two inverse themes in the Kandipalaute survey (“Unreflective approach to learning” and “Study-related burnout”), with the best score being 1 and the worst score being 5. In the report tool, the results of these themes are reversed so that “I completely disagree” is 5 points, the best possible result.”
