as you may already have heard, University has opened a call for ideas for the next round of profiling areas:

It is important that we as a unit and a field are active in these matters, and it would be very good to get the planning process started soon, and with a diverse set of voices and ideas!

I suggest we get together Thursday afternoon next week, 2pm, for an informal discussion on zoom on how the process could proceed and what kind of a team we set up to make it happen– let me know if you’re interested in participating, or if you’re interested in participating but not able to make it so we can get input via other means!
