Joulun ajan tapahtumat ja lahjat henkilöstölle Oulun yliopistossa

Oulun yliopistossa huomioidaan henkilöstöä järjestämällä Novemberfest perjantaina 25.11.2022 Tullisalissa Oulussa klo 17 alkaen. Tapahtuma sisältää illallisen sekä mukavaa, rentoa ohjelmaa. Lisäksi pe 16.12.2022 klo 9:00 järjestetään Telluksessa rehtoraatin puurojuhla. Toivomme, että mahdollisimman moni osallistuisi näihin koko henkilöstölle suunnattuihin tapahtumiin, sillä Oulun yliopisto ei jaa joululahjoja koko henkilökunnalle. Yksikkötason joululounaan tai muun vastaavan tilaisuuden voi järjestää taloussäännön asettamissa rajoissa. Yksikkötasoisia joululahjoja ei ole mahdollista antaa, koska lahjan arvo olisi saajalleen verotettavaa tuloa ja johtaisi suhteettomaan suuriin kustannuksiin ja selvittelytyöhön yksikössä.

Christmas time events and gifts for staff at the University of Oulu

At the University of Oulu, to high-light year end festivities, we are organizing Novemberfest on Friday November 25, 2022 from 17:00 at Tullisali in Oulu. The event includes dinner and a nice, relaxed program. In addition, on Friday 16 December 2022 at 9:00 a.m., the rectorate’s  porridge party will be organized in Tellus. We hope that as many people as possible will participate in these events aimed at the entire staff as University of Oulu will not be giving  Christmas gifts or similar to the staff. A unit specific Christmas lunch or other similar event can be organized within the limits set in the Rules of Procedure for Finances. It is not possible to give unit specific Christmas presents, as it would be taxable income to the employee and would lead into disproportionally high cost in relation to the present and additional workload for the unit.
