CSC:n uudet supertietokoneet Mahti ja Puhti esittelyssä 10.12.2019 klo 10-12 Tellus!
Tervetuloa kuulemaan Tieteen Tietotekniikan keskuksen uusista mahdollisuuksista tutkimukselle Tellus Stagelle!
CSC tuottamat kansainvälisesti korkeatasoiset ICT-asiantuntijapalvelut ovat käytössäsi niin tutkimuksen kuin koulutuksen tarpeisiin! Tule kuulemaan millaisia mahdollisuuksia CSC:n uudet supertietokoneet Mahti
ja Puhti laskentatehoineen antavat tulevaisuudessa sinun tutkimukseesi. Tilaisuudessa CSC:n edustajat Pekka Lehtovuori (johtaja, tutkimuksen laskentapalvelut), Pekka Manninen (ohjelmajohtaja, Lumi-konsortio) ja Antti Mäki (asiakasjohtaja) kertovat CSC:n palveluista
tutkimukselle, joita ovat mm. laskentapalvelut (Mahti- ja Puhti supertietokoneiden mahdollisuudet tutkimustyössä), tutkimusdatan hallinta ja analytiikka, aineistojen säilytys ja digitointi sekä tutkimuksen tutki- ja koulutuspalvelut. Tilaisuudessa esitellään
myös uusi Lumi-laskentaekosysteemi.
Tilaisuuden lopuksi on mahdollisuus keskustella CSC:n edustajien kanssa, kuinka juuri sinä voit hyödyntää palveluja omassa tutkimuksessasi.

CSC – IT Center for Science Ltd.
Provides computing and information services, IT support and modeling services for academia, research institutes and companies in Finland.
It is owned by the Finnish state and
Finnish higher education institutions, administered by the Ministry of Education and Culture, and operated on a non-profit principle.
CSC representatives Pekka Lehtovuori (Director, Computing Services), Pekka Manninen (Director, LUMI Consortium) and Antti Mäki (Customer Director) will be telling about CSC services
for researchers which include computing services (Mahti and Puthi super computers), research data management and analytics, hosting services and support and trainings for researchers. The new Lumi computing ecosystem will also be presented in the event.
