The morning session starts with the opening words of Prof. Heikki Helanterä at 9:00 and shortly after him, keynote speaker Dr. Lenka Kuglerova continues with the title "Interaction between forestry and water: riparian forests and riparian buffer zones". The afternoon session begins with Dr. Jukka Salmela's keynote talk: "How one became three - a taxonomic tale".

Updates!

The keynote talk of Friday afternoon will be given remotely by Dr. Marina Semchenko with the title "Plant functional traits and rhizosphere processes: from global patterns to local interactions and evolution". 

We are happy to tell you that the Garden Party will be arranged this year at University of Oulu Botanical Gardens (Sara) on Friday 9.12., from 6 pm till 11pm. We are offering you Christmas themed sweet and salty snacks, glögi, coffee, and other liquid refreshments. This year we won’t have posters there, but instead we can enjoy the company and relax together a bit in the midst of December kaamos!
