Subject: Line Manager: Deadline for employment contract proposals at the year-end on 3 Dec 2023
In order to have employment contracts signed and prepared before the beginning of employment, proposals for employment contracts starting on 1 January
2024 must be made in Mepco on 3 Dec 2023 at the latest. Due to the peak in the number of employment contracts at the turn of the year, there are delays in processing times and there is no guarantee that employment contracts can be prepared on time if the proposal
is submitted after the deadline. A written contract before the beginning of employment is mandatory and contracts cannot be backdated.
In addition, please inform HR about contracts that end on 31 December 2023 and will not continue, by 3 December 2023, in order to pay holiday bonus
(and possible holiday compensation) 29 December 2023. Please deliver the information through HR service address HR@oulu.fi.

Esihenkilö, tee vuodenvaihteen työsopimusesitykset 3.12.2023 mennessä
1.1.2024 alkavista/jatkuvista työsopimuksista tulee toimittaa esitys Mepcossa viimeistään 3.12.2023, jotta sopimus ehditään valmistella ja allekirjoittaa ennen työsuhteen alkua. Vuodenvaihteen ruuhkahuipun vuoksi ei voida taata, että myöhemmin
toimitettuja työsopimusesityksiä ehditään käsittelemään ja sopimuksia valmistelemaan normaalien vasteaikojen puitteissa joulukuun aikana. Työsopimus tehdään aina kirjallisesti ennen työsuhteen alkua, takautuvia työsopimuksia ei tehdä.
Muista myös toimittaa tieto siitä, että 31.12.2023 päättyvä määräaikainen työsopimus ei jatku, henkilöstöpalvelujen yhteiseen palveluosoitteeseen HR@oulu.fi 3.12.2023 mennessä, jotta lomaraha ja/tai lomakorvaus
ehtivät maksuun 29.12.2023.
