Dear all,

The next Journal Club session will explore casts, fights, morphology and the social evolution among ants! It is led by Heikki Helanterä and his social evolution research group.
We will meet on Friday 15th 10:15-12:00  in AT115A.

Three papers to discuss for this session, to be read in order. Paper 1 is a review making powerful predictions some decades ago. Paper 2 and Paper 3 are examples of the power of comparative analyses that test those ideas a quarter of a century later! Papers are available on the course moodle page  (enrolment key: journal), and enclosed here for convenience.
