Welcome to attend the 26th Kaamos Symposium on December 8-9, 2022!

Doctoral students from Ecology and Genetics Research Unit at University of Oulu annually organize a multidisciplinary conference in the field of biology and environmental sciences. This year Kaamos Symposium includes two days of oral presentations, a poster session, and a workshop.

We warmly welcome everyone to participate in the symposium! The symposium will be organized both live at the University of Oulu, Finland, and online via Zoom. The online streaming will ensure that anyone interested can attend. The attendance is free of charge for everyone, and you can attend the whole symposium or any part you find interesting.

Everyone is welcome to present their research in the symposium. You can give a talk or poster presentation that lasts 20 minutes, and you can choose to give your oral presentation live or online. Poster session will only be organized live in Saalastinsali at University of Oulu. The symposium will be a great opportunity for everyone, especially for PhD students, to present their research, hear interesting talks and discuss the current topics in the field of biology and environmental sciences.

Presenter registration deadline is November 20, 2022.

Abstract submission deadline is November 27, 2022.
Abstracts can be submitted via email: KaamosSymposium@gmail.com

Posters can be printed and brought to the poster session.
Please, forget not to register even though you’re participating as a presenter with the poster only.

Audience registration deadline is December 6, 2022.
