As we heard from the previous unit meeting, our budget will be tight next year. Because of that, PhD students and postdocs must let me know if they plan to teach more than their teaching responsibility (80 hours/year for postdocs on salary, 50 hours/year for PhD students on salary, 25 hours for all who have 10% contract). Extra hours will be paid only if I (after consulting our unit leader Heikki Helanterä) have approved them. In addition, you should also have permission to teach extra hours from your supervisor/advisor.
