Horizon Europe Event, March 5 at 10:00-12:50: Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions & ERC
University of Oulu together with University of Lapland and University of Eastern Finland is organizing an online event on the
Horizon Europe funding instruments for excellent science 5 March 2021 at 10:00-12:50 EET. The speakers include the European Commission officials responsible of the
Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions and
ERC instruments and the respective Finnish National Contact Points (NCP) who will introduce the possibilities these funding instruments offers to researchers and share their insights on the novelties and requirements. The
European Research Council (ERC) and Marie Sk³odowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are discussed in separate sessions allowing you to pick and choose the part you are most interested in or follow the whole event.
Horizon Europe is the next EU Research and Innovation Framework Programme for the years 2021–2027. This online event will focus on the main funding instruments of Horizon Europe Pillar I Excellent
Science: the European Research Council (ERC) and Marie Sk³odowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). These instruments are open to all domains and include funding opportunities for individual researchers to boost their academic career development with the frontier research
projects and mobility. The event will also inform the participants of the novelties and changes in the new programme compared to its predecessor Horizon 2020 programme.
