Juhani Karvonen will have his defense on the 14^th of December (TA105). His opponent is Aleksi Lehikoinen from Finnish Museum of Natural History in Helsinki.

There will be an opportunity to discuss with Aleksi. He has done extensive research on migration, life histories, populations and species distributions

Aleksi has a tight schedule during his trip in Oulu as he arrives only in the morning before the defense. However, he has some time to chat after the defense

or alternatively after the Karonkka after 19:00 in the evening. Juhani’s official Karonkka ends around 19:00 after which we will continue the evening and discussions downtown.
