I hope my email finds you well. 

My name is Könül Ahmadzada and I work as a Specialist in International Affairs at the Unit for Strategy and Science Policy (STY). I am reaching out to you as our unit is looking into the possibility of organizing the Arctic Summer Programme again in August 2026 at the University of Oulu. The programme has been quite successful in the previous years in bringing together existing modules under a unified framework, offering international students a unique learning experience while showcasing our University’s teaching quality, research expertise, and facilities.

STY, in collaboration with other services, is responsible for the operations and logistical arrangements of the summer programme, and we are currently looking for faculties and programs to take part in the planning and implementation of teaching during the summer 2026. By participating, the faculties can:

• Raise their international profile and attract prospective students.

• Pilot new courses and highlight areas of expertise.

• Strengthen collaborations with strategic partners and expand staff networks.

• Benefit from a shared operational framework.

We would be delighted if your faculty would like to contribute a course to the Arctic Summer Programme. Please let us know if it is interesting, and we will be happy to continue to discuss the possibilities.
