Ohessa ajankohtaisia koulutusasioita liittyen vuoden alkuun.

1. Lukujärjestystyö lukuvuodelle 2020-2021 on alkanut

• Lukujärjestystyö on käynnistynyt tietojen keräämisellä. Tutkintorakenteiden mallintamista ja opiskelijoiden lukujärjestystä varten tarvitsemme opetuksesta mahdollisimman tarkat tiedot. Lukuvuonna 2020-2021 opetettavien kurssien tiedot tarvitaan 31.1.2020 mennessä.
• Mikäli sinulla on kysyttävää kurssin toteuttamiseen ja aikataulutukseen liittyen, niin olethan yhteyksissä tutkinto-ohjelman koulutussuunnittelijaan tai palveluosoitteisiin study.science@oulu.fi tai study.technology@oulu.fi.
• Huom. Muutosten tekeminen varsinaisena opetushetkenä on aina varsin haastavaa ja tarvittavia tiloja ei välttämättä ole muutostilanteessa enää saatavilla. Tästä syystä on ensi arvoisen tärkeää panostaa nyt suunnitteluvaiheeseen.

2. Opintojaksokuvausten päivittäminen

• Opintojaksojen kuvaustiedot WebOodissa ovat päivitettävänä ja tätä varten lähipalvelut tarvitsevat kurssikuvaukset viimeistään 10.2.2020 mennessä.
• Koulutussuunnittelijat auttavat ongelmissa ja tietojen keräämisessä.

3. Sähköinen tentti (Exam-järjestelmä) ja Examinariumin avoimet ovet 28.1.

• Sähköinen tentti (Exam-järjestelmä) on opiskelijan ja opettajan työkalu joustavaan sähköiseen tenttimiseen ja kurssien suorittamiseen Examinariumissa.
• Sekä Linnanmaan, että Kontinkankaan Examinariumit (sähköisen tentin tenttitilat) ovat avoinna vierailijoille tiistaina 28.1. klo 11.30-13.00. Tenttijöitä ei tällöin ole tiloissa mutta paikalla on ylläpitäjä vastaamassa kysymyksiin.
• Lisäksi tenttitilaan on saatu käyttöön piirtonäyttöjä erityisesti matemaattista tekstiä ja piirtämistä tarvitsevia tenttejä varten. Näitä pääset testaamaan myös avoimien ovien aikaan. Tervetuloa tutustumaan tenttitilaan ja piirtonäyttöihin!

Hello,

Here are some education related topical issues to the beginning of the year:

1. Timetabling work for the academic year 2020-2021 has started

• Timetabling work has started with data collection phase. In order to model the degree structures and to make the timetable for students, we need as detailed course information as possible. Please, send the course data of the academic year 2020-2021 by 31.1.2020.
• If you have any questions regarding course delivery or scheduling, please contact the degree programmes Education Planner or the service desks (study.science@oulu.fi or study.technology@oulu.fi).
• Note. Changes during the actual teaching time is very challenging and the necessary rooms may not be available anymore. For this reason, it is vital to focus now in the planning phase.

2. Updating the course descriptions

• Course description information to WebOodi is under update and we would need the course descriptions from the teachers by February 10, 2020.
• Education planners will help collecting the course descriptions. If you have any troubles with these issues, do not hesitate to ask.

3. E-exams and Examinarium open days 28.1.

• Electronic examination (Exam-system) is a tool for students and teachers to organize and complete exams flexibly in Examinarium. On Tuesday 28.1. 11:30-12:00, examinariums (E-exam rooms), in both Linnanmaa and Kontinkangas, are open to visitors. During this time, there are no examiners in E-exam but there are personnel available to answer any questions you might have.
• In addition, E-exam is now equipped with new pen and touch displays. Pen and touch displays are practical, especially for mathematical exams and exams that require drawing capabilities. Come and test these new pen displays. Welcome to the E-exam open days!
