There must be at least one person with first aid skills for each of the 25 people starting in office work and one for each 10 people starting in laboratory work.

Area managers mentioned in the university's rescue plan, must primarily have valid first aid preparedness. If more people with first aid skills are needed, the line manager, at his discretion, determines who participates in first aid training.

The First Aid Basic Course (EA1) will take place in spring 2023 as hybrid training, where the theory of first aid subjects is studied online independently, and after approved online studies, you get the right to participate in practical exercises in face-to-face training. The language in the course is English.

The EA1 training is intended for those, who have not previously completed first aid training or whose first aid readiness requires completion of new EA1 training. The course performance is valid for three (3) years. The trainer is Suomen Ensiapukoulutus Oy.

EA1 course in Linnanmaa campus on 23th of May:

Independent studies: From 2 May to 22 May
Face-to-face training: 23 May, from 8:15 to 16:00
Venue: Linnanmaa Campus, Tellus Backstage

EA1 course in Kontinkangas campus on 24th of May:

Independent studies: From 2 May to 23 May
Face-to-face training: 24 May, from 8:15 to 16:00
Venue: Kontinkangas Campus, Room 103a
