University of Oulu has revised their guidelines for working abroad https://patio.oulu.fi/en/services-and-instructions/internationalisation/working-abroad

SO: if you are or are planning to work abroad, or as a PI are planning to have some of your group members work abroad (as a secondment or remote work) – please contact your line manager and me so we can check that everything is going by the book.

Note that remote working from abroad needs to be justified and is possible only in some countries, it’s not something that is automatically OK.
