Proposal workshop for Academy Research Fellow applicants - register by 12 August

The Academy of Finland calls for Research Fellowship, Clinical Researcher, Project funding, Sport Science research projects and Mobility open 25 August and close either 28 September or 5 October depending on the call. Research and Project Services continues to offer support and registration for Academy Research Fellow proposal workshop is now open.

Academy of Finland funding event on 11 August is fully booked. Recordings of selected presentations will be circulated to faculties afterwards.

Workshop for this year’s Academy Research Fellow applicants starts on 19 August and runs weekly until 9 September online. Registration is open until 12 of August via this link: https://link.webropolsurveys.com/S/66269C1FCA692013

The sessions follow the structure of the Academy Research Fellowship application. Each session will contain a brief presentation and Q&A. Participants will have one week to produce a draft text of the section covered in the session that will be commented by the research funding specialist and a peer (or two) from the same field, however CV and publications will not be commented. Participants will have until the 16th of September to send a draft of the full proposal to the research funding specialists (if needed and please note that Faculty-specific variation are possible). Further information and links to the sessions will be sent via email to the registered individuals.

Faculty research funding specialists read and comment applications. Please make sure you contact the relevant specialist as early as possible but by 9 September at the latest (or 16 September if you have participated in the Academy Research Fellow workshop).
