Dear colleagues,
I’m putting together the Biology Thursday seminar for the spring, and I need your help – who would you like to see as a speaker? As the seminar is running on zoom for the spring semester, this is a great opportunity to
invite speakers without having to worry about travel budgets. So please send me suggestions for speakers, or be prepared for a semester of talks filled with social evolution and ant genomics
😉
As you can see from the program, only very few dates have been set, and there is still plenty of space

We will kick off next week with Dr. Lotta-Riina Sundberg with the title ”Is the test tube telling the whole story? Impact of the mucosal environment on phage-bacterium interplay” – her group does super exciting work on
evolution and ecology of bacteria and their viruses
https://lrsundberg.weebly.com/research.html so this is worth checking out! Reminders and zoom links and all that to follow next week…
All the best,
Heikki
