We today had a meeting with people by Thermo Fisher Scientific who introduced us their DNA extraction equipment. In reference to this meeting, I am asking our researchers to provide me the following information:

1) What kind of organisms you plan to work for DNA (or RNA/Protein) in the foreseeable future?

2) What kind of samples you plan to work with (e.g. insect/plants tissue, blood, environmental DNA etc.)?

3) What is the estimated scale of your (how many extractions a year)?

4) If there is anything else you want to say on this topic, please do so.
