As part of the new employee orientation, the university is organizing this session for international employees and their spouses on the Linnanmaa campus,  on Tuesday, 11th June 12:00-15:00. The event is held in English.

The Welcome to Oulu event is an informative session and a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with a wide range of topics, from navigating Finnish small talk to understanding unions, work culture, and the Finnish workplace ethos. 

Delve into the charm of Finnish costumes and cultural differences, and gain valuable insights for successful meetings. Plus, you will discover handy tips for enjoying Oulu's distinct four seasons and finding the support you need. 

You are encouraged to allocate work time for this session, as it is part of your orientation.

Coffee and snacks will be provided to registered participants attending the on-campus session. Please, register here. Registration will close on Friday, 7th at 11:00am.
