The Research Council of Finland (Suomen Akatemia) winter 2024 call, closing on 17 January 2024, invites applications for Academy Project funding, Academy Research Fellowships, Clinical Researcher funding and the Academy Programme for Sport Science.

The call text, including the application guidelines and the details on the review criteria and the review procedure, will be published late October. The call opens on 15 November and closes on 17 January 2024. The funding decisions will be made by June 2024.

Support to applicants

Synopsis workshop on 30 August at 9 am – 1 pm  (Tellus Backstage, Linnanmaa) for developing your research idea and considering the impact of your project.

 Academy Camp 9 November – 14 December for advice and support for writing a section at a time, as well as receiving feedback for your texts. An afternoon event followed by four workshops.
