Hei, We will have presentations of our Unit's research groups for biology bachelor and master students on Thursday February 19th from 9.15-12.00 at Tellus Backstage. The first two hours are reserved for presentations and the rest of the time for free discussion. Every research group should select a person who presents the whole group and its activities at the event. Each group has 5 minutes for their presentation, which can be given in either Finnish (preferred) or English. Please prepare a maximum of 5 PowerPoint slides in widescreen 16:9 format and include:
1. the name of the group 2. members of the group 3. research organisms and principal methods 4. main research questions 5. a brief summary of a recent finding.
Please let me know by Friday January 30th who from your group will present at the event and send me your slides by Friday February 13th (remember, max. 5 slides!). I will compile the slides into a single PowerPoint presentation to ensure smooth presenter transitions. Best wishes, Lumi
