Academy of Finland, advance information on funding opportunities: calls for research accelerating the green
and digital transition

During the session, the Academy willl present the Academy of Finland’s funding opportunities
that will open in spring 2022 and that are based on the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF):
In accordance with Finland’s Recovery and Resilience Plan, published
in May 2021 as part of the Sustainable Growth Programme for Finland, the Academy of Finland will allocate significant funding to promoting the green and digital transition and supporting partnerships in 2021 and 2022.
The session will be held in English.
The replay will be available on the Academy’s website for two weeks.

What: Workshop on proposal writing to support researchers who are interested in Horizon Europe
consortium projects. Hand-on sessions will give the participants the possibility to set up a proposal and work on elements that are crucial for success.

Support available for Horizon Europe coordinators -apply now
Are you planning to coordinate a Horizon Europe proposal for the upcoming calls in September - November 2022?

Research and project services are offering enhanced support for researchers, who are planning to coordinate a Research and Innovation Action (RIA) proposal for the autumnal Horizon
Europe calls (Clusters 1-6).
The support consists of trainings, grant-writing services, partner search, budgeting, open science, etc. Also, external services for proposal review and graphic design services for infographics will be provided. Read here about
the experiences of Prof. Shenghong Yang, who participated in the pilot support process in 2021 and received funding.
All researchers planning to submit a proposal for the Horizon Europe RIA calls in September - November 2022 as coordinators can express their interest to be included in the support process
by answering a short Webropol questionnaire by
11.3.2021.
All information provided will be kept confidential. The applicants who are selected for the support process commit themselves to take part in the support process for the proposal preparation and submit their final proposal to
a call in 2022. Selected applicants will be invited to a Horizon Europe online training 29.03.2022 - 13.04.2022 (videos on demand) and a kick-off meeting to go through the support process and schedule in April.
Selection will be made based on the availability of services and the readiness level of the proposal preparation.
