EU´s next framework programme for research and innovation 2021-2027
Horizon Europe is about to start and the first funding calls will open around March 2021. Research Support Services has provided a bunch of training for researchers involving national experts, EU specialists and successful EU-project researchers. This session
will be held by LGI consulting.
LGI has a vast experience with EU funding from the last 15 years
and has access to hundreds of proposals and evaluation reports. The training will give you a shortcut to all that information, without having to spend 15 years applying for funding! Training is open for all researchers, whether you are just turning your interest
in EU projects or has already experienced in EU-level.

9:00-11:00 Decoding calls for proposals
Calls for proposals can be complex, and hundreds of hours of work depend on your ability to decode them properly. In order to do that, you need to
have an understanding of the policy landscape, as well as a structure and way of thinking to be able to “crash-test” your idea for a project. This workshop will be a hands-on exercise to improve your skill in this area.

Setting up a proposal is a project in itself with deliverables, milestones, partners and lots of time spent. Getting so many people with different
backgrounds, motivations and understanding of the concept to work together efficiently can be a daunting task. This workshop will have you set up a proposal and help you to get a better grip on some of the key aspects suchs as setting up a consortium, SMART
KPIs, barriers, risks, budgeting, etc.
