2. Horisontti 2020 -työohjelmat vuosille 2018-2020 on nyt julkaistu ja ne löytyvät EU:n participant portaalista Horizon 2020 Work Programme published
?The 2018-2020 Work Programme will focus on fewer topics with bigger budgets, supporting priorities such as: A low-carbon, climate resilient future (EUR3.3 billion); Circular Economy (EUR1 billion); Digitising and transforming European industry and services (EUR1.7 billion); Security Union (EUR1 billion); Migration (EUR200 million). EUR2.7 billion will be used to kick-start a European Innovation Council which will support high-risk, high-gain innovation to create the markets of the future. The new Work Programme also boosts funding for excellent science, promotes Open Science and strengthens international cooperation. It will invest over EUR1 billion in 30 flagship initiatives. Examples include working with Canada on personalised medicine, with the US, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Australia on road transport automation, with India on water challenges and with African countries on food security and renewable energies. The last Work Programme runs for three years with 2020 seen as a "bridge year" between Horizon 2020 and it successor.
