European Coordinated Research on Long-term Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and ICT-based scientific challenges ERA-NET (CHIST-ERA) organizes a joint call for research funding in
the field of Information and Communication Sciences & Technologies.
The call focuses on the following topics: 1) Nano-Opto-Electro-Mechanical Systems (NOEMS) for ICT and 2) Foundations for Misbehaviour Detection and Mitigation Strategies in Online Social Networks
and Media (OSNEM)

RAKENNERAHASTOT
EAKR-rahoitusta
haettavana Pohjois-Pohjanmaan liitolta; DL 31.12. Pohjois-Pohjanmaan Liitto on avannut EAKR-rahoitushaun päättymässä olevasta EAKR-hakemuksia otetaan vastaan tällä kertaa
vain toimintalinjalle 2 "Uusimman tiedon ja osaamisen tuottaminen ja hyödyntäminen" rakennerahasto-ohjelmassa Kestävää kasvua ja työtä 2014-2020. Pohjois-Pohjanmaan liiton EAKR-hankevalinnassa painotetaan älykästä erikoistumista ja maakuntaohjelman toimeenpanosuunnitelmaa.
Hankkeiden toteutusaika voi ulottua enintään 31.8.2023 saakka. Haettavan tukirahoituksen (EAKR- ja valtio) osuus on korkeintaan 70% hankkeen kokonaiskustannuksista. HUOM! Yliopiston hakemukset jätetään keskitetysti ja sen vuoksi hakuun jätettävät hakemukset
salasanoineen on toimitettava Johanna Ekille (johanna.ek@oulu.fi) viimeistään 29.12.2021. Hakemuksiin liitettävät
aiesopimukset on toimitettava allekirjoitettavaksi tiedekunnan tutkimusrahoitusasiantuntijalle viimeistään 17.12.2021, jotta sopimukset ehditään allekirjoittaa ennen joululomia.

Pohjois-Pohjanmaan
ELY-keskus on avannut päättyvän rakennerahasto-ohjelman viimeisen React EU ESR -haun; DL 20.1.2022. Hakemuksia toivotaan erityisesti yritysten ja yrittäjien muutoskyvykkyyden
edistämiseen. Yliopiston sisäistä arviointia varten hakuun jätettävät hakemukset pyydetään toimittamaan Johanna Ekille (johanna.ek@oulu.fi) sähköpostitse viimeistään 6.1.2022. Viimeistellyt hakemukset salasanoineen tulee
toimittaa 18.1.2022 Johanna Ekille, koska yliopiston hakemukset jätetään keskitetysti.

AKKE
(Alueiden kestävän kasvun ja elinvoiman tukeminen määräraha) DL 31.1.2022
Alueiden kestävän kasvun ja elinvoiman tukemisen määrärahaa (AKKE) käytetään maakuntien liittojen päätösten mukaisesti maakuntaohjelman ja hallituksen aluekehittämispäätöksen toimeenpanoa edistäviin kohteisiin. Haku kohdennetaan
selvitys- ja kokeiluhankkeisiin teemana:
FOUNDATIONS
Jane
and Aatos Erkko Foundation supports high-level, international scientific research as well as arts and culture. The Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation accepts grant applications
every day of the year. Decisions to award grants are made by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, which meets four times a year in March, May, September and December. Average processing time for applications is 4–6 months.
Säätiöiden post-doc pool.
The Pool’s next application round will take place from 1 until
31 January 2022
From the year 2022 onwards, it is possible to apply for funding from the Post Doc Pool
even for shorter research periods abroad (i.e. outside of Finland) that last at least 6 months.
Finnish Cultural Foundation, Regional Grants.
DL 10 February 2022. Support the development and promotion of arts and sciences, as well as local projects, spearhead
projects and cultural activities.
Emil Aaltosen Säätiö,
DL 15 February 2022. Young investigator grants, part-time working grants, targeted grants, project grants. Grants are primarily awarded to researchers whose native language is Finnish. It may, however, be
possible to award grants to researchers with other native languages, given that they are strongly integrated into a Finnish institution and are able to communicate fluently in Finnish.

Europe (HEU) Programme, Research support services has made brand new Horizon Europe Patio Service Cards containing information on the various funding instruments: Services
and instructions/ Research support/ Funding instruments. Within the service cards you can find for example annotated proposal templates containing plenty of
useful information and examples for ERC, MSCA and RIA (Research and Innovation Action) proposals, but also a comprehensive list of various tools/ guides and contact points for hands on support. Horizon Europe Consortium Project Service cards even contains an

We are organising a training session, which provide an introduction to the Research Professional platform, demonstrate how to search for funding opportunities
in the Funding database, and show how to set up email alerts and interact with the content. The trainer is Sofia Vilja from Research Professional.

EAKR ja ESR rahoitusinfo
15.12. klo 9-11. Pohjois-Pohjanmaan ensimmäinen uuden rakennerahasto-ohjelmakauden EAKR-haku avautunee tammikuussa ja ESR+ -haku todennäköisesti helmikuun alussa. Näistä tiedotetaan tarkemmin tammikuussa.
