Key applications for dPCR:
* Accurate measurement of targets in low abundance * Monitoring small changes over time (routine monitoring) * Absolute quantitation without the need of standards * Rare targets in complex media (e.g. CRISPR drop-off assays) * Applications that require resistance to inhibitors
