Oikos Finland gives out the prize "The best PhD thesis in ecology and evolutionary biology in Finland". The winner is awarded 500€ and is also invited to give a presentation in the next national Oikos meeting.
Now we are inviting nominations of high-quality PhD theses that were defended during the academic year 2021-2022 (1.8.2021-31.7.2022).

For a PhD thesis to be considered for the prize, the following information must be provided: 1) link to the e-thesis 2) a short (about 200 words) justification why this thesis should get the prize 3) copy of the opponent's statement of the thesis
Anyone who can provide the above information is welcome to nominate a PhD thesis, including the thesis author and the supervisors. The deadline is 1.11.2022. If you have any questions, please ask Hanna Tuomisto (hanna.tuomisto@utu.fi).
