Dear Tutor Teacher,

In autumn 2025, the University of Oulu will organise the Ask Me! campaign for the first time. The aim of the campaign is to give new students a warm welcome to our university community.

During the campaign, new students can easily approach a more experienced student or a staff member to ask questions. The campaign is easy to recognize by the pink Ask Me! logo, visible from mid-August to the end of September on both the Linnanmaa and Kontinkangas campuses – and across the university’s communication channels.

We warmly invite all tutor teachers – and the entire university community – to join the campaign! ❤️

As a tutor teacher you play an important role in supporting new students as they begin their studies. You're likely to receive many questions from them. You don’t need to have all the answers – it’s enough to take a moment to listen and help the student find the right direction together.

As a campaign participant, you’ll receive:

a ready-made list of typical questions new students might ask
helpful tips on student services – useful for you, too!
and in addition to a good feeling, a joint surprise event to thank all participants

Campaign period: 14 August – 30 September 2025

You can wear the badge whenever it suits your schedule. After the campaign, badges will be returned to collection boxes on campus.
