We are happy to announce a great line-up of keynote speakers for the
Oikos
Finland Conference, which will be held on February 14-15 2023 in Helsinki and is jointly organized by the University of Helsinki, Natural Resources Institute Finland
(Luke), and Finnish Environment Institute (Syke).
The keynote speakers are:
Academy Research Fellow at University of Jyväskylä
Prof. Bengt-Gunnar Jonsson
Professor at Mid Sweden University
Unit Director of Nature Solutions at Syke (Starting January 2023; currently Director of Luomus)
Professor in the Organismal and Evolutionary Biology Research programme at University of Helsinki
The conference will be held at Viikki campus in Helsinki and include a pre-conference workshop on February 13th. The meeting is a forum for research related
to ecology and evolutionary biology. This year, the conference theme is
Natural resources management and biodiversity
and we welcome poster and oral presentation submissions under this theme. In addition to this, a diverse range of basic and applied research topics are encouraged.
