Dear colleagues,
Biology Thursday seminar continues on site on 30th March, at 12:15 in the room AT115A.
Our speaker is Prof. Teppo Hiltunen from the University of Turku, on “Experimental microbial ecology and evolution”.
Teppo is a professor of genetics and physiology at the Department of Biology in Turku, and a PI at the Multidisciplinary Center of Excellence in Antimicrobial Resistance Research. He works at the interface of ecology
and evolution, e.g. on how ecological species interactions affect evolution in experimental microbial systems, and their implications all the way to ecosystem processes and matters of practical urgency such as the evolution of antibiotic resistance. More on
is research at: https://www.utu.fi/en/people/teppo-hiltunen
See you on Thursday,
Heikki
