Dr. Mika Simonen on "Investigating interspecies interaction"

Mika is currently a post doc in Dr. Pauliina Rautio's group in the Faculty of education, so this week get a slightly different view into investigating interspecific interactions!

Abstract: Investigating interspecies interaction In this presentation, I am introducing ethnomethodological conversation analysis for analyzing interspecies interaction occurring between humans and dogs and showing some findings related to their social interaction. Moreover, I'll discuss a new project (CitiRats) and show how transformation from human to bird can be done in interaction. The data are gathered from videotaped materials.
