see below – Oikos Finland is looking for nominations for the best PhD thesis ecology and evolution (defended between 1.8.2023-31.7.2024).

Please be active – the supervisor, the PhD, or actually anyone is allowed to nominate, and I’m sure there are many good candidates amongst the theses from our unit in this time window!

Oikos Finland PhD of the year Each year Oikos Finland awards the prize "The best PhD thesis in ecology and evolutionary biology in Finland". The winner is awarded 500€ and is also invited to give a presentation at the next national Oikos meeting. Now we are inviting nominations of high-quality PhD theses that were defended during the academic year 2023-2024 (1.8.2023-31.7.2024). Anyone is welcome to nominate a PhD thesis, including the thesis author and the supervisors. The deadline is 15.11.2024.
