Hi, we'll have the weekly teacher's coffee today immediately after the unit meeting (or at 14.00 if there is no unit meeting). Like last week it's mostly for just a casual get together between teachers and anyone who wants to teach.

I'll also start collecting information about our courses and teachers. The idea is to find out what transferrable skills are students are taught on the various courses so that we can see the bigger picture more clearly. The second goal is to start creating a list with information about who our teachers are and how much teaching everyone is doing. With the new 10% contracts for people on grants and other recent changes in staff, this will make it easier to allocate teaching resources in future. Don't worry if you can't make it to the coffee today, this is an long-term project and there's no hurry.
