In the renewation of the university's AV technology the quality of the outgoing and incoming sound as well as video is improved. Trainings related to the use of the new hall technology will be held for staff during this year.

During the reform, computers have been removed from the halls and the rest will be removed by the summer at the latest. The new teaching device vendor provides complement to the IT equipment needs of the moment.

A loan shop is a self-service vending machine used by university staff, where you can get different IT devices for remote learning or remote meeting, for example in those rooms where there is no computer or camera. The vendor is located in the central hall of Linnanmaa campus in a prominent location on the corner of the L1 hall.

Currently, you can borrow laptops and so-called remote teaching cases:

* Laptops 11 pcs. With the UNIV laptop, the same carrier bag has a charger because the batteries on laptops do not charge when they are in the tray as in students vendors. * Remote teaching cases (=etäopetus) 6 pcs. The case includes a conference microphone, headphones, camera and USB extension cord, as well as a USB hub.

In the near future, 6 pcs of pedestal cameras will be added to the vendor. The range of devices will be expanded according to needs.

Register as a user of the vendor

For registration, you will need a university O365 username, mobile phone and RFID tag, which is on the university ID card, for example. With a registered card, you can borrow devices for up to six hours at a time. You can make three borrowings a day. At the same time, you can only have different product packages on loan, that is, for example, it is not possible to borrow two laptops.

Uusi IT-välinelainaamo henkilökunnan käyttöön

Yliopiston AV-tekniikkauudistuksessa salien tekniikkaa parannetaan mm. lähtevän ja tulevan kuvan ja äänen laadun osalta. Uuden salitekniikan käyttöön liittyviä koulutuksia järjestetään henkilökunnalle tämän vuoden aikana.

Uudistuksen myötä saleista on poistettu tietokoneita ja loputkin poistetaan viimeistään kesällä. Uusi opetusvälinelainaamo tarjoaa täydennystä tämän hetken IT-laitetarpeisiin.

Lainaamo on yliopiston henkilökunnan käytössä oleva itsepalveluautomaatti, mistä saa erilaisia IT-laitteita etäopetuksen tai etäkokouksen järjestämistä varten esimerkiksi niissä tiloissa, joissa ei ole tietokonetta tai kameraa. Lainaamo sijaitsee Linnanmaan kampuksen keskusaulassa näkyvällä paikalla L1-salin kulmalla.

Tällä hetkellä lainaamosta voi lainata läppäreitä ja ns. etäopetussalkkuja:

* Läppäreitä 11 kpl. UNIV-läppärin kanssa samassa kantopussissa on laturi, koska läppäreiden akut eivät lataudu lokerossa ollessaan kuten opiskelijoiden lainaamoissa. * Etäopetussalkkuja 6 kpl. Salkku sisältää konferenssimikrofonin, kuulokkeet, kameran ja USB-jatkojohdon sekä USB-hubin.

Lähitulevaisuudessa lainaamoon tulee 6 kpl jalustalla olevia kameroita. Laitevalikoimaa tullaan laajentamaan tarpeiden mukaan.

Rekisteröidy lainaamon käyttäjäksi itsepalveluautomaatilla

Tarvitset rekisteröintiin yliopiston O365-käyttäjätunnuksen, matkapuhelimen ja RFID-tunnisteen, joka on esimerkiksi yliopiston henkilökortissa. Rekisteröidyllä kortilla voit lainata laitteita enintään kuudeksi tunniksi kerrallaan. Voit tehdä kolme lainausta päivässä. Samanaikaisesti sinulla voi olla lainassa vain eri tuotepaketteja, eli esimerkiksi kahden läppärin lainaaminen ei ole mahdollista.
