Hello everybody,
We have had talk about microscope repair evening, and we could arrange this within the next three weeks. I made a Framadate-link so you can vote about the date, so hopefully we can find a good time that suits the people interested. The link is here:

As there are old broken microscopes in the cemetery of broken lab equipment, we can show people how to fix these. If you have some at home you can bring those too and lets see if they can be revived. If people help with repairing the teaching microscopes, they can take one old microscope for their personal use at home. I counted we have 13 microscopes for slides and 7 stereo-microscopes.
If this event is a success, we could arrange another night specifically for the microscopes at the Botanical Garden. You can also forward this email if it doesn’t reach everybody interested, but I think we prioritize the microscopes to people who are associated with our research in some way.

Hello Everybody,
I will count the votes now, looks like tomorrow 28.2. at 14:00 won with a landslide. We could meet in front of B137 and take some microscopes from the storage and fix them in B137.
If you know somebody who would be interested in old microscopes for home use you can forward this to them. I will arrange some equipment for tomorrow.
BR, Petri Sundqvist
