In the last meeting of the Biology Degree Programme Committee we decided that from now on the supervisor of the thesis will be one of the reviewers and they will invite another reviewer in Laturi (see instructions here: https://libguides.oulu.fi/laturiguide/reviewer).

At least one of the reviewers should be a teaching staff of our Unit, i.e. in a case when a PhD student, a postdoc or somebody outside the Unit has been the supervisor.

The reason behind this decision is that we have been more and more often short on reviewers. This practice is already in use in many other degree programmes at our university.
