Dear all,

we'll be getting 15 BSc, 21 MSc and 10 PhD degrees by the end of the spring term. Great job from all supervisors (and thesis reviewers, too)!

Just excellent in terms of PhDs, but many more BScs and MScs are urgently needed in the autumn. Luckily we've got some extra funding from the Faculty for teacher tutors at MSc level. Emma Vatka (ecology) Emma.Vatka@oulu.fi and Katja Riipinen (bioscience) riipinen.katja@gmail.com will be giving study advise and support to MSc students. MSc. seminar will also be started in the autumn with some new efforts to support (and push) the students.
