Vuoden 2022 aikana Oulun yliopisto siirtyy käyttämään uudistettua OuluCRIS tutkimustietojärjestelmää (nykyisin: Oulun yliopisto tutkii/SoleCRIS), jonne tutkijoiden tiedot tulevat siirtymään Mepco-järjestelmästä sekä tohtorikoulutettavien tiedot Pepistä.

Tutkijalle muodostuu jatkossa profiili tutkimustietojärjestelmään seuraavien sopimusten perusteella:

Tulevassa tutkimustietojärjestelmässä siirrytään samanlaiseen käytäntöön, kuin muissakin suomalaisissa yliopistoissa, jossa profiilin luominen järjestelmään ja samalla julkaisujen kirjaaminen OKM:n tiedonkeruuseen, perustuu selkeästi sopimukseen, josta vastaa tutkimusyksikkö.

Tehdyt sopimukset tulee kirjata Mepcoon, josta tieto siirtyy tutkimustietojärjestelmään. Sopimuksen tulee olla voimassa julkaisuun liittyvän tutkimus- ja kirjoitustyön aikana. Sopimuksia ei voi kirjata takautuvasti.

Tohtorikoulutettavien tulee olla ilmoittautuneena läsnä olevaksi, jotta profiili muodostuu.

Kun julkaisu perustuu henkilön Oulun yliopistossa tekemään tutkimus- tai asiantuntijatyöhön, julkaisuissa tulee käyttää selkeästi Oulun yliopiston affiiliaatiota (Research Unit, University of Oulu, Oulu, Finland).

Mepcoon kirjattu sopimus ja julkaisussa näkyvä affiliaatiotieto varmistavat julkaisujen kirjaamisen oikealle organisaatiolle ja siten lisäävät yliopiston saamaa rahoitusta.

Dear Research Unit Leader,

During 2022 the University of Oulu will introduce a new OuluCRIS research information system (At present: Oulun yliopisto tutkii/SoleCRIS). Researchers' data will be transferred to the new system from Mepco and doctoral students data from Peppi.

In future researcher profiles in the research information system will be based on the following agreements:

* Employment contract * Grant researcher's agreement on the use of research and office space (https://patio.oulu.fi/en/services-and-instructions/personnel/salaries-and-fe...) * Visiting researcher contract (https://patio.oulu.fi/en/services-and-instructions/personnel/international-s...) * Affiliate agreement (https://patio.oulu.fi/en/services-and-instructions/personnel/other-employmen...) * Emerita/emeritus contract (https://patio.oulu.fi/en/services-and-instructions/personnel/other-employmen...) * Active doctoral students data is fetched from Peppi With the new research information system the university will adopt a similar approach as other Finnish universities, in which the creation of a personal profile in the system and reporting of publications in the Ministry of Education and Culture's publication data collection is explicitly based on an agreement that is the responsibility of the research unit.

The agreements must be registered into Mepco, from where the data is transferred to the research information system. The agreement must be in force during both the research work related to the publication and its writing. Research units should note that it will not be possible to enter these contracts retroactively into Mepco.

Doctoral students must be registered as present to get a profile.

When a publication is based on a person's research or expert work conducted at the University of Oulu, the affiliation to the University of Oulu should be explicitly stated in the publication (Research Unit, University of Oulu, Oulu, Finland).

The agreement registered into Mepco and affiliation information in the publication guarantees that the publications are registered to the correct organization and consequently increase the funding received by the university.
