Welcome to learn more from intellectual property rights (patents, copyrights...)! Intellectual property rights (IPR) do not have meaning only in business life. Research work also produces and utilizes IPR. Come to listen to interesting talks and learn how you can protect and utilize your results more efficiently! Incucyte S3 training next week: Fri 14.9.2018

Dear all, We will have the first Incucyte S3 training on Friday 14th of September in 338B by Matthew Tomlinson from Sartorius/Essen Bioscience. Incucyte S3 is a live cell imaging system that can be used for live-cell imaging using different standard plates (including 96- and 384-well) and T-flasks. The device is very useful for proliferation, migration, apoptosis, and invasion studies. More information: http://www.essenbioscience.com/essen-products/incucyte/ We have a new Incucyte S3 machine in Kieppi, located in 2nd floor premises. If you plan to use this machine in your research, please come and hear about the software and the tools the machine has. Huomenta, olen siirtymässä nyt syys-lokakuun aikana Biocenterin TG coren koordinaattorin tehtäviin Raija Soinisen jäädessä eläkkeelle. Tutkimustyötä jatkan entiseen tapaan CRC:llä eli säilyn kyllä kuvioissa mukana. CRC:n laboratoriopäällikön tehtävissä aloitti syyskuun alusta lähtien Antti Haapalainen. Kiitos teille kaikille tähänastisesta, hyvin sujuneesta yhteistyöstä ja onnea Antille uuteen hommaan! Aurinkoista tiistaita toivotellen, Reetta ps. huomatkaahan, että Teijan väitös on ensi viikon perjantaina (14.9.) klo 12 Leena Palotie-salissa. Tsemppiä Teija! Good Morning, I have started in a new position as a TG core coordinator in September due to retirement of Raija Soininen, the previous coordinator. I will continue doing research in CRC and will be around. However, Antti Haapalainen takes care of the tasks of laboratory manager from the beginning of September. Hei Mukavia syysuutisia välinehuollon tiimoilta. Välinehuoltoon saadaan lisäkäsiä 10.9. alkaen. Ensi viikolla käynnistellään Kiepin välinehuoltoa pitkän tauon jälkeen. Ilmoitan tarkemmin ensi viikon alussa, miten välinehuolto alkaa toimia uuden työntekijän perehdytysjakson aikana. Alkanut viikko mennään vielä elokuun tapaan. Tiskit biokemian päässä ja autoklaavaus Kiepissä. terveisin virpi HI Good news from the DWA unit. We will have a person working in the unit from September 10th. Next week the Kieppi unit will start serving you after the long break. I will inform you in the beginning of next week, how the service will be organized during the orientation period of the new person. During this week the service is similar to the service in August.
