Hei, (EAKR funding call information only in Finnish) EAKR-hakuihin liittyen on tullut ohjeistus, että kaikki syksyn hakemukset tulee priorisoida hakijaorganisaatioiden puolesta. Tästä johtuen yliopiston sisäisiä hakemusaikatauluja on jouduttu hiukan muuttamaan. 1. Pohjois-Pohjanmaan liiton EAKR-haku päättyvän ohjelmakauden 2014-2021 määrärahoista: https://patio.oulu.fi/fi/uutiset/pohjois-pohjanmaan-liiton-eakr-rahoitushaku * Rahoitusta haetaan EURA2014-järjestelmässä. * Oulun yliopistosta hakuun jätettävät hakemukset priorisoidaan yliopiston arviointiryhmän toimesta (Oulun yliopisto). Hyvät tutkijat, (English version below) Muutamia huomioita syksyn Akatemia-hauista. Deadline yksilöhakemuksilla on 28.9. ja hankehakemuksilla 5.10. Minun viimeinen työpäiväni tutkimusrahoitusasiantuntijana yliopistolla on perjantai 9.9.2022 ja tämän viikon jälkeen Akatemia-hakemuksia lukee Jaana Liimatainen (jaana.liimatainen[at]oulu.fi). Mikäli haluatte kommentteja teksteihinne, niin lähetättehän alustavan hakemuksenne minulle tai Jaanalle perjantaihin 9.9. mennessä. Myöhemmin tulleita tekstejä luetaan mahdollisuuksien mukaan. Yleiskustannuskerroin on päivitetty eilen ja uusi prosentti on 71 % (viime vuonna 73 %). Hakemusta ei voi jättää, jos järjestelmä havaitsee virheen sivumäärityksissä tai rakenteessa. * Ilmeisesti hakemukseen lopulta liitettävä pdf pitää muodostaa tiedosto>vie>luo pdf-toiminnolla, ei tallenna pdf-muodossa -toiminnolla, mutta tätä tutkitaan vielä. Akatemiassa on valmisteilla UKK-listaus liiteasioista. * Huomiona, että hakemuspohjat on päivitetty kesällä! * Tutkimussuunnitelman pituus on enintään 12 sivua (konsortiohakemus 15). Fontti on Source Sans Pro 12 pt, riviväli 1 ja marginaalit 20 mm (myös viitteet!). Paperikoko on A4. Lähdeviitteet on lisättävä suoraan tekstiin esim. (tekijä, vuosiluku) tai [numero]. Sivun alaviitteitä ei saa käyttää. Lähdeluettelo sisältyy tutkimussuunnitelmaan ja lasketaan siten tutkimussuunnitelman pituuteen mukaan. * Meidän annotoituja pohjia voi käyttää tukena, mutta kirjoittakaa viralliseen pohjaan (meidän pohja löytyy https://patio.oulu.fi/fi/palvelut-ja-ohjeet/tutkimuksen-tuki/rahoituslahtee…) Onnea hakemuksillenne! * * * * * * * * * Dear researchers, A couple of things about this Fall's Academy applications. The deadline for the Academy Research Fellows is 28.9. and the projects 5.10. My last working day as a research funding specialist here at the university is Friday 9.9. and after this week the Academy applications will be commented on by Jaana Liimatainen (jaana.liimatainen[at]oulu.fi). If you would like comments on your applications, please send your draft application to Jaana or me by Friday 9.92022. Application texts received later will be commented on if possible. The university's overhead percentage was changed yesterday, and it is 71% (73% last year). You can find the budgeting template from Patio: https://patio.oulu.fi/en/services-and-instructions/finance-and-purchase/fin… The formatting of the research plan has been changed/specified since last year, and here are some pointers: * When writing, use the Academy's own and latest, research plan template: https://www.aka.fi/en/research-funding/apply-for-funding/how-to-apply-for-f… * The research plan is submitted as a PDF appendix in the Academy's online services on the tab 'Research plan'. * You cannot change the headings in any way. You cannot submit the application if the system detects any changes in the length or structure. * It seems the final pdf has to be made using the export function (export -> create pdf) and not save as -> change to format to *.pdf. The Academy is looking into this and preparing a FAQ regarding the attachments. * Please note that the templates have been updated during the summer! * The maximum length of the research plan is twelve pages (15 pages for consortium applications). The font is Source Sans Pro (font size 12 pt, line spacing one and margins 20 mm) (also with the references!). The paper size is A4. All bibliographic references must be added directly into the text, for example, as follows: (author(s), year) or [number]. Please, do not use footnotes. The list of references is part of the research plan and does count toward the length of the plan. * Feel free to use our annotated templates to aid you but use the Academy's official template for the actual writing. Single-cell RNA-seq data analysis using R 6.10.2022 This course introduces scRNA-seq data analysis concepts and R packages. You should have some experience in using R in order to participate in this course.
