MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026 postings in EURAXESS portal
We want to increase the number of researchers funded by the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships programme at the University of Oulu. To do that, we encourage research groups and units to create postings in the international EURAXESS portal to reach suitable applicants.
The MSCA PF postings should clearly describe the positions to which MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship applicants can apply, the specific expertise of the research group or unit, the background and qualifications required of the applicant, and include a brief introduction to the University of Oulu. This way, we provide applicants with a comprehensive view of the opportunities at the University of Oulu and attract the best MSCA PF candidates. The final application is jointly created by the candidate and the supervisor from the University of Oulu and submitted to the MSCA Postdoctoral call.
The Research and Project Services team will assist with drafting these postings if needed and will ensure their publication in the EURAXESS service. By publishing the announcements for the MSCA PF 2026 call, which opens in April 2026, already at the beginning of 2026, we can ensure that information about MSCA PF positions spreads as widely as possible.
To prepare a job posting, please contact Research Funding Specialist Monika Luukkonen (monika.luukkonen(a)oulu.fi). You can also request sample texts from previously published postings.
If you would like to read more about Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships calls, you can find additional information here.

Luo hakuilmoitus MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026 -hakua varten EURAXESS-portaaliin
Haluamme lisätä Oulun yliopistoon tulevien MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships -rahoitettujen tutkijoiden määrää. Kannustamme tutkimusryhmiä ja yksiköitä luomaan hakuilmoituksia kansainväliseen EURAXESS-portaaliin, jotta voimme tavoittaa sopivia hakijoita.
Ilmoituksissa kannattaa kuvata selkeästi MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships -haun kohteena oleva tehtävä, tutkimusryhmän tai yksikön erityisosaaminen, hakijalta edellytettävä tausta ja asiantuntemus sekä lyhyt esittely Oulun yliopistosta. Näin tarjoamme hakijoille kattavan kuvan Oulun yliopiston mahdollisuuksista ja houkuttelemme parhaita MSCA PF -hakijoita. Lopullisen hakemuksen MSCA PF -ohjelmaan luovat potentiaalinen hakija ja Oulun yliopiston ohjaaja yhdessä.
Tutkimus- ja projektipalveluiden tiimi avustaa tarvittaessa näiden ilmoitusten laatimisessa ja huolehtii hakuilmoitusten julkaisemisesta EURAXESS-palvelussa. Laittamalla huhtikuussa 2026 avautuvan MSCA PF 2026 -haun ilmoitukset EURAXESSiin jo alkuvuodesta 2026 voimme varmistaa, että tieto MSCA PF -paikoista ehtii levitä mahdollisimman laajasti.
Hakuilmoituksen laatimista varten ota yhteyttä tutkimusrahoitusasiantuntija Monika Luukkoseen (monika.luukkonen(a)oulu.fi). Voit pyytää häneltä myös esimerkkitekstejä aiemmin julkaistuista hakuilmoituksista.

Hei,
Hi,
I received this kind of instructions (attached) from ISS a little over two years ago. I always share this with new employees. Now I'm not at all sure if I sent this to the CRC mailing list as well. There is no English version available, but I will mention this at the next cleaning meeting. More information can be found at: https://patio.oulu.fi/en/services-and-instructions/facilities/environment-a…

Dear biomedical researchers,
FYI, a message from the European Commission, Unit Safe and Sustainable Chemicals:
Dear colleagues,
We have some exciting news to share: Biomedical models Hub (BimmoH)<https://bimmoh.eu/>, the largest public database on human biology -based models used in biomedical research, was launched yesterday 1 December.
Please find a short news item on the topic at Human-centric research: the largest dataset of human biology-based models launched - The Joint Research Centre: EU Science Hub<https://joint-research-centre.ec.europa.eu/jrc-news-and-updates/human-centr…>
and on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7401298959136317440/?o…
Together with the new ALURES NTS Dashboard<https://environment.ec.europa.eu/topics/chemicals/animals-science/statistic…>, Europe is significantly increasing its free resources available to researchers, authorities and other stakeholders working in the field of LAS and the Three Rs.
We would be grateful if this information was disseminated widely and made available to researchers, user establishments and competent authorities tasked with project evaluation.

Research security and the risks associated with it should be considered appropriately in research projects and research collaboration and in the utilisation of research results. The changing geopolitical situation and international tensions require increasingly accurate risk identification and management.
Consideration of research security issues is part of responsible research and research ethics. Each researcher is responsible for ensuring that security aspects are taken into account in the research project. Anyway, according to the law, consideration of security aspects must not restrict the researcher’s right to choose their research topic and methods.
