Hi,
Did you know that up 80 % of all technical information can be found only from patent publications? If you read only scientific articles you cannot get the full picture from current knowledge.
Patents are not only important when making inventions. Utilize their information also when you plan a new research project. Impress the funders!
Learn how to search patent databases and how to find most important information from patent publication. Course contains lectures but main focus is in practical exercises.
University Innovation Centre and University Library are arranging a one day course at
9th May 2019 in Linnanmaa campus (computer class YL124). The course will be arranged in English (in autumn similar course in Finnish, date will be informed later).
The course is for PhD students, senior researchers and all interested to know more from patents. Registration to WebOodi (course code 920013J) or by email to
Maarit.Jokela@oulu.fi at latest 6th
May 2019.
