Tervetuloa Oulun yliopiston 11. tohtoripromootioon

Oulun yliopiston yhdestoista kaikkien tiedekuntien yhteinen tohtoripromootio järjestetään kolmipäiväisenä tapahtumana 22.–24.5.2020. Juhlallisuudet alkavat perjantaina 22.5. miekanhiojaisilla Lasaretissa. Promootioakti on lauantaina 23.5. kello 12 alkaen Oulun yliopiston Saalastinsalissa, josta siirrytään juhlakulkueen jälkeen Oulun tuomiokirkkoon ekumeeniseen juhlajumalanpalvelukseen. Promootiopäivällinen järjestetään samana iltana Teatrialla. Promootiojuhlallisuudet päättyvät sunnuntaina 24.5. promootiopurjehdukseen Maikkulan kartanossa.

Ilmoittautuminen tohtoripromootioon ja siihen liittyviin juhlallisuuksiin on avattu promootion nettisivuille. Ilmoittautuminen on auki promovendeille 12.1.2020 saakka.

Promootioon voivat ilmoittautua promovoimattomat nuoret tohtorit, jotka ovat valmistuneet 1.1.2017–31.12.2019. Myös ennen vuotta 2017 väitelleiden promovoimattomien tohtoreiden on mahdollista osallistua, mutta heidän määräänsä on rajoitettu.

Voit myös välittää tietoa asiasta tuttavillesi, jotka ovat väitelleet Oulun yliopistosta.

Welcome to 11th Doctoral Conferment Ceremony of the University of Oulu in 2020

University of Oulu will hold its 11^th Doctoral Conferment Ceremony in spring 2020. Conferment Ceremony will be arranged jointly by all Faculties. The ceremonies will take place in three consecutive days from 22^nd to 24^th of May 2020. The Conferment Ceremonies begin on Friday 22^nd with Sword-Whetting at Hotel Lasaretti. The Conferment Ceremony is on Saturday 23^th at noon in Saalastinsali, University of Oulu. After the Conferment Ceremony there is a procession to the Oulu Cathedral for an ecumenical service. The Conferment Banquet and Ball will be held on the same night in Teatria. The celebrations will conclude on Sunday 24^th of May with the Sailing Trip at Maikkula Mansion.

The registration for the Conferment Ceremonies is now open at the Conferment website. The registration for Young Doctors is open until 12^th of January 2020. 

Young Doctor who has not been conferred a degree and who has graduated between 1.1.2017–31.12.2019 may register. Also, Doctors who have not been conferred a degree and have graduated before 2017 may register, but the number of participants is limited.
