Send e-mail before the symposium to Ritva Saastamoinen, indicating if you participate in the lectures only (no limitation, open to all), or also in the post-lecture discussion groups with the speakers (limited to doctoral students or early-stage postdocs, see below). Registration deadline for the discussion groups: By November 15, 2013.
Discussion groups
If you participate in a post-lecture discussion group, please give your name, the suggested speaker for your discussion group, your Home Institute, Department and Principal Supervisor. The discussion groups will be formed based on the registrations. Each speaker provides beforehand one publication of their own to be distributed to pre-registered participants, who read the papers before the symposium. The papers can be used as a background in the discussions (by default 3-8 doctoral students/ speaker; groups can be combined depending on the number of participants). The readings will be distributed to the participants approximately 1 week before the symposium.
