The topic of Wednesday’s seminar will be Human health in focus: What can different research methods tell about our health? The speakers are Eija Pirinen, associate professor in the research unit of internal medicine (Faculty of Medicine) contributing to the Fibrobesity profiling theme, and Sanna Huikari, a postdoctoral researcher in the department of economics, accounting, and finance (Oulu Business School).

In the Brown Bag seminars of Spring 2022, you will get the chance to get to know the research of the newly started researchers in the Fibrobesity profiling theme alongside interesting research topics from other disciplines in our university. Fibrobesity is an Academy of Finland funded research theme that focuses on obesity-related fibrotic pathologies.

On behalf of the Fibrobesity Team,
