The Golden Arvo Ylppö Medal recipient Prof Abman’s lecture
Time: Monday October 30th from 8.20 to 9.00 Place: LS 12, Lecture room of Children’s Hospital, Oulu University Hospital Theme: Pulmonary Hypertension, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia and Angiocrine Signaling. Speaker: Professor Steve H. Abman Director of Pediatric Heart Lung Center, University of Colorado School of Medicine Professor Abman received the Golden Arvo Ylppö Medal in 2017. Among others, he introduced Nitric Oxide in treatment of PH of the newborn and discovered the mechanism of impaired alveolarization in BPD.
