Thanks for the response.

 

While I don’t speak Finnish, myself as a line manager and PI, do have team members who do speak it. However, if in my role as their supervisor, I am not aware of the specifics of calls such as these and how our current work can align with Faculty goals, it does put the Faculty at a disadvantage in securing important funding. I would urge to consider this and keep it in mind for future opportunities.

I didn't inform this in English because the funders of JTF only accepts proposals written either in Finnish or Swedish. This is also the reason why the info session will be in Finnish.
