The EU has published the Work Programmes for Horizon Europe 2026-2027 funding | Patio

The European Commission has released final Work Programmes for funding research and innovation for Horizon Europe 2026-2027.
The newly released Work Programmes can be found in EU website: Horizon Europe work programmes - Research and innovation.
To simplify the funding calls, the Commission has ensured that the calls are now less prescriptive, reducing the length of the work programmes. In addition, the calls grant fewer, but larger projects.
Half of all calls will use Lump Sum budgeting, which reduces administrative burden by removing detailed financial reporting requirements. Furthermore, 41 calls will follow a two-stage application process: applicants first submit a short proposal, and only the most promising are invited to provide a full application.
Some two-stage calls include anonymized (blind) evaluations. Be sure to review the call conditions carefully when preparing proposals for these calls.
You can find Work Programmes, summary excels and online tools to support proposal preparation also in our Teams site: General | Horizon Europe Consortium project (Pillar II) support | Microsoft Teams
