A warm welcome to the first Brown Bag Research Lunch Seminar of this Autumn!
The seminars theme is "Towards novel treatments and monitoring in medicine"https://patio.oulu.fi/en/events/brown-bag-towards-novel-treatments-and-monitoring-medicine, and it brings together research from two of University of Oulu's profiling themes, 6G-enabled sustainable society (6GESS) and Fibrobesity. The event is held in English.
The speakers in this Brown Bag seminar will be Teemu Myllylä, associate professor in the the research unit of health sciences and technology contributing to 6GESS profiling theme, and Eija Pirinen, associate professor in the research unit of internal medicine contributing to the Fibrobesity profiling theme. Myllylä's research focuses on monitoring the brain, and Pirinen is looking into the functioning of mitochondria. Join the seminar to learn more!
